The Indian Army has announced the Agnipath Recruitment 2025, offering opportunities for young individuals to serve the nation as Agniveers. This scheme aims to recruit candidates for a four-year tenure across various roles within the Indian Army.

Indian Army Agnipath Recruitment 2025 Important Dates:

• Application Start Date: February 13, 2025.

• Last Date to Apply: March 22, 2025.

• Online Examination Date: April 22, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit: Candidates must be between 17 years 6 months and 21 years old.

• Educational Qualifications:

  • Agniveer General Duty (GD): 10th pass with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks and 33% in each subject.

  • Agniveer Technical: 12th pass in Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) with at least 50% aggregate marks and 40% in each subject.

  • Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper Technical: 12th pass in any stream with 60% aggregate marks and 50% in each subject.

  • Agniveer Tradesmen: 8th or 10th pass, depending on the specific trade.

Indian Army Agnipath Recruitment 2025 Application Process:

3. Complete the application form with personal and educational details.

4. Upload necessary documents, including photographs and signatures.

5. Pay the application fee of ₹250 online.

Selection Process:

1. Online Common Entrance Examination (CEE): A computer-based test assessing general knowledge, mathematics, and relevant subjects.

2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Evaluates physical endurance through activities like running and push-ups.

3. Medical Examination: Ensures candidates meet the medical standards required for service.

Salary Structure:

Agniveers will receive a customized monthly package starting at ₹30,000 in the first year, increasing annually up to ₹40,000 in the fourth year. A portion of the salary will be contributed to the Agniveer Corpus Fund, matched by the government, culminating in a one-time 'Seva Nidhi' package of approximately ₹10.04 lakh upon completion of the four-year tenure.
